Android 7.0 Nougat has started rolling out to Nexus devices...

Yesterday, Google officially released the much anticipatedAndroid 7.0 Nougat. The update brings a whole lot of new features to the Android platform and as usual, Nexus users will be the first to get their hands on the update.

Android 7.0 Nougat roll-out
Google has started rolling out theOTA update to the following devices:
  • Nexus 6
  • Nexus 5X
  • Nexus 6P
  • Nexus Player
  • Pixel C
  • General Mobile 4G (Android One)
This marks the end of the line for 2013's Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013) as they are no longer going to receive system updates but that’s no surprise as all things must come to an end at some point.

Although Google started rolling out the update today, it will probably be a slow-staged rollout so it may take a little while before the final version of Android 7.0 Nougatarrives on your Android device.

Also, for those who were part of the Android N beta program, the next update they will receive will be the final version of Android 7.0 Nougat
