How To Browse The Internet With Your Tv Receiver

 Different brands offer today the possibility to browse the Internet or some Web Applications on their TV Receivers. In order to enjoy such features you need of course to have an Internet connection & own a TV Receiver compatible with the Internet.
Here is a list of Digital Satellite Receivers available in Nigeria that can be connected to the Internet:

In order to connect your TV receiver to the Internet you have to:

Make sure you have installed the latest software.
In order to check your software version proceed as follow on a STRONG receiver (Go to Menu, System Information, S/W Version), then compare your software version with the latest software released here: Download Latest Software. If you don’t have the latest version, please proceed with an update of your software.
Make sure your Internet connection is working
Plug your Ethernet cable (from your modem/switch…) to your receiver
Go to Menu, System System Settings, IP Settings
Press the red button of your remote control in order to proceed with a SCAN of your IP Settings.
It’s done, you should be able to enjoy the built-in Web application of your receiver
